The Metal Forming Committee – gathering almost thirty enterprises that are members of UCIMU and work in the metal forming and metalworking field – expressed its unanimous decision to take part in the next EMO MILANO 2021.

The Metal Forming Committee – gathering almost thirty enterprises that are members of UCIMU and work in the metal forming and metalworking field – expressed its unanimous decision to take part in the next EMO MILANO 2021.

During the meeting, which took place last Friday, 19 March, the largest part of the attendees  representing the major Italian players of the sector and the leading companies in the production of related, complementary technologies, confirmed their participation in the world machine tool exhibition scheduled at fieramilano from 4 to 9 October 2021.

When concluding the meeting, Filippo Gasparini, vice-president of UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE and coordinator of the Committee, stated: "With this initiative, the Italian metal-forming and metalworking manufacturing industry intends to affirm its own strength and dynamism in the eyes of the world".

"After almost two years of absence from exhibition centres due to the pandemic, we have chosen EMO MILANO 2021 as the first stage to present our product offering to the public. In doing that, we are convinced that this event will offer us interesting business opportunities and, at the same time, will contribute to strengthen the role of Italy in the sector – among the leaders with regard to production and consumption – and in the international panorama, among the organisers of exhibitions".

"We are proud to support EMO MILANO 2021 with our presence and - concluded Filippo Gasparini – we are sure that having successful trade shows in our country means ensuring future and development for the Italian industry of the sector".

The participation in the World Exhibition confirmed by almost all the meeting attendees, which are added to a large number of companies that had already sent their applications to exhibit, will certainly be a driver for the enterprises of the sector that have not yet completed their application procedures, also considering the very favourable economic context.

Indeed, the enterprises that will take part in EMO MILANO 2021 will have the possibility to identify and meet the demand of the Italian market, which can rely on Transition 4.0, the plan launched by the Italian Government. This plan includes several incentives that are really interesting for those who wish to make investments in new production technologies from the beginning of 2021 to 2023. The effect of these provisions is already perceptible, but the market will become more dynamic and will offer the best chances in the next months, in time conjunction with the World Exhibition held in Milan from 4 to 9 October.

Alfredo Mariotti, general manager of UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE stressed: "In this connection, Italy is certainly ahead of many other countries of the Euro area and the best way to take advantage of this opportunity is to exhibit at EMO MILANO 2021. Actually, the measures are applied to investments made in Italy and therefore, taking part in the World Exhibition is a benefit for all exhibitors of any nationality".
