Founded in 1982, Chip Mong Group (CMG) is one of the largest diversified groups in Cambodia with businesses ranging from property development, beer and beverages, to manufacturing and distribution of building materials. CMG Industries Division recently wanted to to expand its business by venturing into a new field - piples manufacturing. AMUG Group was tapped as the supplier for this project.
“We had such a good first impression of AMUT GROUP technology that we decided to put our confidence in the Italian company buying in one single step four extrusion lines for the production of pipes. The lines will produce pipes in different materials permitting us to cover different applications and markets: water supply and drainage - UPVC pipes, flexible electric conduit - UPVC corrugated pipes, general purposes – HDPE small diameters pipes. We hope this could be the beginning of a great collaboration for our future investments," according to James Henshaw, CEO of CMG Industries during his visit at AMUT premises for the machines testing period.
The AMUT line for the production of HDPE pipes can produce pipes with diamters ranging from 16mm to 63mm with output of 250 kg/h using single screw extruder Ø48mm- 40 L/D and pipe thickness range of 2mm up to 3.8mm.
Two lines for the production of UPVC pipes with diameters from 63mm to 125mm feature output of 350 kg/h using parallel twin screw extruders Ø76 mm - 28 L/D with pipe thickness ranging from 2.5mm up to 5.2mm.
One line for the production of UPVC corrugated pipes can produce pipes at diameters of 16mm to 32mm with output of 150 kg/h using conical twin screw extruder Ø48 mm - 24 L/D and with flexible hose thickness range of 0.1mm up to 0.6mm
