ASEAN Food Conference to be held at ProPak Vietnam

THE Vietnam Association of Food Science and Technology (VAFoST) will host ASEAN Food Conference, a pre-conference and seminar program at ProPak Vietnam 2017, the country’s leading event for processing and packaging scheduled from March 21-23. Supported by Federation of International Food Science and Technology Associations (FIFSTA) and International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFOST), this program is geared towards food safety education and training where several international experts invited to discuss the topics. The program takes place on March 22,  and the FIFSTA and IUFOST meeting on March 23.

The VAFOST Symposium at ProPak Vietnam 2017 will include topics on healthy food and drink, and traditional rice products – on aspects of safety, quality and commercial production.

ProPak Vietnam, organized by SES Vietnam Exhibition Services and in partnership with VCCI Exhibition Service, expects over 8,000 trade visitors from 43 countries and regions, making it one of the largest and most comprehensive editions in years. High-caliber machinery, applications and systems catering to the industry demand will be on display, with Food Processing & Packaging; Pharmaceutical Processing & Packaging; Bottling & Beverage Technology; Canning Technology; Barcoding, Printing & Labeling; Filling Machinery and Systems; Food Safety & Hygiene Technology commanding the majority of the exhibits.
