BOGE for Motion Control Industry Awards

The Motion Control Industry Awards has announced its 2018 finalists. BOGE KOMPRESSOREN, a leading provider of compressed air solutions was named a finalist for three categories, namely Manufacturer of the Year; Technical Innovation of the Year for its High Speed Turbo (HST) Compressor; and the Environmental/Energy Efficiency Award. Regarded as one of the foremost industrial events, the Awards recognises outstanding achievements in the motion control sector.

 

The HST technology developed by BOGE represents a quantum leap in compressed air innovation. Due to a radical reduction in the number of parts and an ingenious construction principle, the compressor’s foil-air bearings on the drive shaft guarantee particularly low-wear operation. This, in turn, improves operation efficiency and reduces overall costs by 30%. The technology is suitable for applications in industries as varied as pharmaceutical, industrial coating, semiconductor, and food and beverage.

The winners of the Motion Control Industry Awards will be announced at a gala dinner on April 10, 2018 at the National Conference Centre in Arden, Solihull, UK. Co-located with the Fluid Power & Systems, Air-Tech and Drives & Controls exhibitions (April 10-12, 2018), the dinner presents guest with the opportunity to celebrate with the industry’s best and brightest.
