Food ingredients Asia will hotd its 23rd edition at the Jakarta International Expo (Ji Expo) from 3 to 5 October 2018. The leading B2B event for the region’s food and beverage ingredients market will be 40% bigger, occupying nine halls to accommodate the growing number of participants.
Over 750 local and international ingredient suppliers and distributors will be exhibiting the latest solutions designed to transform products and process development, and help manufacturers meet ASEAN’s varied tastes.
Indonesia alone with 265 million consumers is a undeniably a magnet for food and beverage companies. The industry is growing year-on-year at an estimated 10%, according to the Indonesian Food and Beverage Association (GAPMMI). With the growth of two major sectors namely beverage ingredients and natural ingredients, show organisers UBM are adding the Beverage Pavilion – the first ever in the history of the trade fair in Asia. While the Natural Ingredients Pavilion will highlight the trend toward increasing applications of ingredients derived from natural sources which are deemed healthy.
