During the COVID-19 pandemic, FIMIC, a global supplier of automatic filtration solutions for plastic recycling industry, has successfully performed multiple remote installations with its customers in various locations.
Back to end of February 2020 when the pandemic broke out, FIMIC immediately took actions on planning and executing remote installations. These actions involve the engineer to make the clear instruction sheet to check the mechanical installation, the sales team to make clear video of the introduction on each part and up to the remote service team and the team from customer’s side to work for the successful start-up. As of July 2020, FIMIC has completed its 15th remote installation at its customer's facility.
Due to the travel restrictions, FIMIC technicians could not physically install the filters on site but FIMIC provided superior assistance remotely as it keeps finding new tools for customers to have better installation experience. Recently, FIMIC has developed a new application/platform to stay in contact with customer where remote installation is being undertaken. Instead of using browser, customers can chat or call FIMIC team through the App for faster and real-time assistance. The app assistance also includes the function of augmented reality tools (AR), video chat and translation. This avoids many inconveniences to our customers in different countries.
One customer in Romania, Mr. Dimitar said: "We are satisfied with the performance of FIMIC filter and happy with the final efficiency of the investment."
Covid-19 did not stop FIMIC team to manufacture high quality filters, in the meantime, FIMIC is keen on developing more opportunities to offer better service under any circumstances.
