Genius Machinery wins major prize at TaipeiPLAS

The 2018 TaipeiPlas was successful ending for Genius Machinery whose concern for the global waste plastic treatment issues have led it to create recycling machines for the plastics industry. As China has prohibited the import of waste plastics since 2017 and with the Vietnam government following the footstep through its own prohibition, many European and American waste plastics can no longer be shipped to these countries. As a result, traders turn to handle and recycle these waste plastics in their own countries. With the greater role of plastics recycling in the global plastics industry, a new revolution is taking place.

At TaipeiPLAS 2018, Genius showed the KRIEGER-85 Cutter Compactor Plastic Recycling Machine. By using a special technology to process the screws and the die-head, the machine helps to create a better wear-resistance for the products and increase the service life. In addition, the KRIEGER-85 is equipped with a high-precision gearbox from Italy that can withstand higher torque with good transmission efficiency. Even if the motor is small, it won’t be overloaded. It also helps customers reduce their power consumption. With these features, Genius has won the First Prize in the category for circular system or recycling equipment in the 2018 Taiwan Plastic & Rubber Industry Award for Excellence in Research and Innovation.
