GPS Reisacher shares packing room expertise at IFFA

At IFFA 2019, GPS Reisacher will demonstrate its problem-solving expertise for the packing room used in the meat processing business and in industry. The company known for food technology and packing systems, will be at in Hall 11.1, Stand A19 to display end-to-end solutions along the entire value-added chain: Machines – consumables – spare parts/retrofits – repairs/service – second-hand offers (used machines) – financial services (hire/leasing)

WEBER – Slicer CCS 305 UB

The Weber Slicer 305 is the entry-level model for state-of-the-art slicing technology. It is easy to operate, products can be easily changed over and the shear bar and side limit stop can be configured for the product width. Weber’s hygienic design ensures that the system is easy to clean.

HAJEK – VSE 30 thermoform packaging machine

The tried-and-tested VSE 30 thermoform packaging machine is characterised by its built-in hygiene, user-friendliness and ease of maintenance. The modular design of the machine is an advantage in that the VSE 30 can be supplied for use with flexible, semi-rigid and skin film up to a maximum width of 560 mm and a cut-off length of up to 600 mm. A VSE 30 thermoform packaging machine with an overall length of 4,600 mm will be displayed at the trade fair. The machine enables the cost-efficient production of flexible films and MAP in addition to labelling on the upper side of the finished packs.

Processing of the latest films will be demonstrated live on the HAJEK VSE 30. The sustainable Next Flex 11-Layer MPO (Mono PolyOlefin) films from the system partner, VF Verpackungen, can be restored to their base products by means of a chemical recycling process and, thanks to this, can then be used as a raw material for new food packaging.

PULSOTRONIC – product control and end-of-line equipment

Having collaborated with PULSOTRONIC-Anlagentechnik in the south of Germany, GPS Reisacher will be presenting a gantry robot from the PV7 range at the IFFA exhibition in which the packages from a thermoform packaging machine are transferred individually to downstream assemblies. The PV7 can process up to 200 products per minute and its other performance features include an empty package detection and ejection system and an automatic mechanism for optimising the distances between the individual products.
