IMCD China, part of the IMCD Group, a global leading distributor of speciality chemicals and food ingredients, has appointed Andreas Igerl, as Managing Director, effective as of 1 October 2020.
In his role, Andreas will lead and further drive the strategic growth ambitions of IMCD China, continue to expand positive and trust-based relations with business partners and customers to further strengthen IMCD China’s position and reputation in the world’s largest economy.
Andreas will be based at the IMCD offices in Shanghai and will be reporting to Haiko Zuidhoff, Vice President APAC.
Andreas Igerl assumes his post as Managing Director, IMCD China, effective 1 October 2020.

Andreas is German and joined IMCD in 2019 as the Business Unit Manager Advanced Materials in Germany. He brings more than 10 years successful experience in the Speciality Engineered Plastics Materials Industry and in-depth commercial and leadership knowledge including the integration of acquisitions and assignment in Europe and Asia. Andreas holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Science for Economy and Management in Munich.
