Intelligent process cooling from Frigel

Market preference for an energy saving cooling system has pushed Frigel to continuously cite the advantages of its intelligent process cooling products. At KOPLAS 2017, Ecodry 3DK Closed Loop Adiabatic Liquid Cooler took center stage at the HNP booth. HNP is Frigel’s agent in Korea serving the local market. 

According to Frigel Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. Sales Director, Glen Bian: “The adiabatic liquid cooler can be configured to meet the needs of customers wanting to achieve the maximum cooling required for their production processes.”  

Currently produced in Frigel’s Thailand factory, the Ecodry 3DK Closed Loop Adiabatic Liquid Cooler can deliver higher energy and water savings, environmental benefits and other advantages. Ecodry 3DK can also be configured to occupy a 30 percent smaller footprint than the Ecodry model it replaces.

As an alternative to conventional process cooling, Ecodry 3DK is the primary component of an integrated, closed-loop intelligent cooling system that provides clean water at the right temperature to industrial processes year round. The closed-loop approach can reduce water consumption by as much as 95 percent when used instead of a cooling tower. Compared to an air-cooled central chiller, it can reduce energy consumption by as much as 95 percent. Ecodry also eliminates chemical discharges and dangerous water borne diseases, such as Legionella.

As Mr. Bian states, enhancement of the Frigel Ecodry System in Ecodry 3DK incorporates a booster for less water consumption and improved cooling precision.  

Aside from the Ecodry, Frigel also supplies Aquagel high-efficiency hydraulic system and the Microgel family of packaged industrial chillers.

Despite stiff competition, Frigel has established a strong foothold in the Korean market. “Competition is tough but we maintain a growing number of customers through HNP, our agent here in Korea. That’s because whenever customers open new plants, their first cooling option is Frigel and this has given us an edge in a market where production efficiency and energy savings are important factors,” Mr. Bian stressed.
