KAMPF's smart solutions strengthened

The KAMPF team reported strong interest from a large number of visitors at the 32nd edition of Chinaplas. At the company's booth, future-oriented topics focused on KAMPF and its smart solutions, which meet the industry's demands for increased efficiency and higher throughput in production. In addition to new automation concepts, the@vanced, the integrative platform, received a lot of attention because monitoring and using networked production data increase productivity and flexibility, as well as facilitate and control  measures.

 

According to Samson Y.T. Chong, Managing Director of KAMPF (Hong Kong) Ltd., the KAMPF BSF Slitter is the company's latest offering, which was also very well received by the international trade visitors. This new development is based on more than ten years of experience in the manufacturing process of battery separator films. "The BSF Slitter meets the increasing requirements of the highly innovative lithium-ion battery industry where KAMPF has strong expertise," said Mr. Chong. The new generation of BSF Slitters is  especially designed to improve the comprehensive processing aspects of these complex key components and safety LIB. KAMPF applied its expertise in slitting and winding of all types of battery separator films to develop a highly efficient, productive and compact BSF Slitters,

KAMPF has a production facility in Shanghai, China since 2004 but will have a new bigger production plant in Jintan, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province where eventually all production activities will be transferred. Mr. Chong also explained that KAMPF produces small converting machines in the China plant while the standard machines are still produced in Germany. He added that KAMP has been supplying to the Southeast Asian region which has also shown growing demand for films.  

 

The KAMPF team also received good wishes from visitors for the opening of the new KAMPF location "Kampf Technology Changzhou" (KTC) in Jintan. The opening ceremony of the new centre took place on April 23 before the start of Chinaplas.
