Gearboxes are used in a very wide range of industrial fields. It is an essential piece of equipment that transmits mechanical power. Thanks to the use of gearboxes, a small rotation force (torque) can be used to produce a much greater rotation force, and a slow rate of revolution can be speeded up.

Company Sales Manager Mr Stanley Liu stated that after years of success in the Taiwan market, the company has been diversifying its product types since 2015. As a result, the company released a completely new series of gearboxes suitable for European users and their specifications. The new series is based from the technical foundation of the original gearboxes.

He said, “This new effort allows us to expand and reach a vast area of users globally. Furthermore, given the strength of possessing key technological knowledge in gears, transmission systems and controller, we are planning to develop high-end and more intelligent integrated production lines, such as those with PLC, servo embedded and so on. “

Liu added, “Li Xiang will meet the visitors at TMTS to introduce their highly efficient gearboxes, whether it is for the European and American markets, or regional use in Asia; customers can expect quality and efficient designs. We aim for users to get total-solution by using our gearboxes and achieve productive manufacturing.”

The gearbox industry is expanding in developing countries, owing to rising industrialisation and infrastructural development activities. Increasing wind power installations and the low cost and compact nature of the equipment are major factors driving the global gear motors market. However, because there are many instances where the breakdown of a gearbox would have serious implications, extremely high reliability is demanded.

Moreover, Stanley stressed that Li Xiang seeks to ensure that its designs closely match customer needs, and the company is always aiming to enhance product quality.

Instead of competing for mass production Li Xiang is more interested in honing their quality and services for customers. And thereby, laying out a solid foundation for the modernisation in the manufacturing industry.
