Packaging specialists share thoughts on the circular economy at the 4th Asia Food and Beverage Summit taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia from 4-5 September 2018.

IT IS simply impossible to talk about packaging without going into the role of industry players in the circular economy, referred to as a “regenerative system in which resource input and waste, emission, and energy leakage are minimised by slowing, closing, and narrowing energy and material loops; this can be achieved through long-lasting design, maintenance, repair, reuse, remanufacturing, refurbishing, recycling, and upcycling”.*
