METALEX 2017 welcomed 91,034 industrialists from across ASEAN and many countries from around the world.  On display are more than 10,000 items of technology, of which at least 25% are being shown for the first time in the Asian market. 

Mr. Isara Burintharamat, Managing Director of Reed Tradex Co. Ltd pointed out that the exhibition has the objective of bringing new experiences in metalworking industry to show in all 10 halls of Bitec. Visitors met with machinery and suppliers for more than 10,000 items of metalworking technologies, offering the best deals for this year from 3,300 leading brands in 50 countries, of which more than 60% are leading brands from Japan. Again, at least 10% are new exhibitors bringing the latest trends in technology to the show this year. Examples are suppliers of robotic arms with IOT connectivity and higher capability with multiple functions yet more compact than before. These robots will respond comprehensively to the needs of the metalworking industry such as those producing automotive parts, electronics architecture, aviation parts industry and airconditioning and refrigeration etc.
