TMTS2020 switched to a digital exhibition

For a variety of reasons, such as the COVID-19 Epidemic remaining uncertain, travel difficulties for international buyers, the unbearable loss of temporary suspension, etc, TMTS is forced to make a regrettable decision：The physical exhibition will be postponed to 2022.

The COVID-19 epidemic has spread to 196 countries/regions. With the advanced public health policy and the active cooperation of all Taiwanese people, the spread of the epidemic has been prevented. During this outbreak, members of the Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Associations (TMBA) were the first to join the "National Mask Team" to complete 92 mask production lines in 40 days, which had become the strongest support for the fight against epidemic, once again demonstrating the solidity of Taiwan's machine tool industry. Industrial strength, quick response, flexibility, and a complete supply chain are the reasons why Taiwan's machine tool industry has long stood firm on the international stage. 

According to Gardner Research's latest report on the global machine tool industry in 2019, Taiwan was the fifth largest exporter and seventh largest producer in the world. The stable development of the industry will definitely lead to sustainable economic activities and provide hundreds of thousands of job opportunities. As all exhibitors expect, TMTS will stimulate the recovery of the economy after the epidemic. Detailed Supporting Measures

TMTS 2020 exhibitors can choose to either defer the deposit for 2022 or refund the paid participation fees. The exhibitors will be notified of the detailed supporting measures and actual dates of TMTS2022 by July 10, 2020.
