THE BOOMING food and beverage market in Asia is attracting processing and packaging companies from around the world ever more. Increasing consumer demand, strong growth rates, and robust intra-ASEAN trade keep the market vibrant, and this is expected to get even better.
Every year for the past 25 years, ProPak Asia has been the annual meeting place for buyers and exhibitors of packaging and processing machinery, materials, and total solutions. The event handled by UBM has proven itself in delivering quality and quantity trade buyers, a diverse number and selection of international suppliers, and the widest showcase of new technology and innovations. It has now become the number one – and the largest industry event of its kind in Asia in connecting thousands to the region’s rapidly expanding processing and packaging industries.
The 2018 edition is a must-attend event because it is expanding with more exhibitors and first-time participants. It will present over 1,800 exhibitors from 45 countries and regions, 17 pavilions with 13 separate countries including leading producers of packaging and processing machinery from Germany, Italy, Japan and China. There will be no less than 5,000 machines on showcase at BITEC’S 58,000 sqm exhibition space. An estimated 50,000 professional visitors will attend the four-day event.
ProPak Asia 2018 features 8 industry zones including ProcessingTechAsia, PackagingTechAsia, DrinkTechAsia, PharmaTechAsia, Lab&TestAsia, MaterialsAsia, Coding,Marking&LabellingAsia and Coldchain,Logistics&WarehousingAsia. ProPak Asia 2018 introduces its newest 9th zone “Printech Asia” which is a joint venture with The Italian Machine Manufacturer Association ACIMGA – organisers of the largest print technology trade fairs in Europe. Printech Asia is dedicated to covering the latest in converting, package printing, and labelling technologies and services across Asia.
