AEC integration supports ASEAN industry

ASEAN is now known as a world production hub for manufacturing industrial parts. Each country in ASEAN has its own expertise and specialties i.e. Thailand is known for quality automotive part-makers, Vietnam is strong in electrics & electronics, Myanmar is known for labour-intensive industry for mass production; Singapore for precision engineering and etc. With a single market and production base, the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will allow businesses to access special products and services with speed and precision. The Community will also establish a network of industries across ASEAN, and be part of a global supply chain.

Today INTERMACH and Subcon Thailand is the most comprehensive industrial machinery and subcontracting exhibition in the region. During this year's exhibition, there will be more than 100 special Seminars. One of this year's major presentations will be delivered under the theme; "THE BENEFIT OF AEC INTEGRATION TO ASEAN SUPPORTING INDUSTRY"

This topics will be will cover the strength and opportunity of its industry especially in the support industry, the benefit to the country when AEC arrives and how ASEAN countries can work together to make the most of the AEC.
