Clariant appoints new Asia-Pacific president

Specialty chemicals maker Clariant International AG has named Peter Lindner its Asia-Pacific president in Hong Kong. Lindner succeeds Gary Fielding, who has left the firm. Lindner, who has been with Clariant for 40 years, had been president of the former special market region of Clariant, which included Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Now, the region has been integrated to include Europe and the Asia-Pacific as a result of Clariant's regional restructuring.
