Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2012 is poised to make a triumphant comeback as the biggest ever opportunity for processors from across Vietnam and its neighboring countries in the regionto discover the best in technology, innovations, state-of-the-art machinery and processing solutions for plastics and rubber.The event is scheduled to be held at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City, on 29 February to 2 March 2012.

With an established track record Plastics & Rubber Vietnam is the international show bringing top level companies and pavilions from the European and Asian markets. The 2010 edition of Plastics & Rubber Vietnam has proven to be a successful platform for the growing industry. It attracted 216 exhibiting companies from 21 countries including Australia, Germany, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and UK. With more than 6,500 high quality trade buyers from 37 countries visiting the trade show, Vietnam has become a regional rising hub for plastics and rubber processing.

The host country, Vietnam, is rising in prominence as a global manufacturing center. Its plastics and rubber industries are transforming rapidly to serve an increasingly diversified industrial base. Around two-thirds of Vietnam’s 1.5 billion of estimated exports in 2010 was consumed by China. There is significant potential to develop the rubber processing sector in the country, with plans in place to upgrade outdated technology in order to add additional value onshore.

Vietnam’s plastic product export is targeted to bring in 2.15 billion in 2015 and it would be 4.3 billion in 2020 with a growth rate of 15%. The total investment capital for this scheme till 2020 will need some trillion dong.
With the exhibition space enlarged to 4,400 sqm, the 4th International Plastics & Rubber Technologies and Materials Exhibition for Vietnam will once again strengthen its unique advantages by providing the most successful platform for exhibiting companies to showcase their latest innovations, state-of-the-art machinery and cost effective processing solutions to processors.

The event will provide an expanded window for aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, electrical and electronics, furniture, medical and healthcare, household goods, packaging, leisure goods, building and construction as well as contract and sub-contracting manufacturing sectors in Vietnam to access the latest plastics and rubber processing, packaging and precision engineering technologies available in the global market.

Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2012 co-locates with ProPak Vietnam 2012, featuring a wide rangeof advanced manufacturing and packaging equipment and supplies to create a strengthened promotional programme reaching out to wider spectrum of the manufacturing sectors in Vietnam. The co-location is expected to attract more than 7,500 visitors.

Organised by Bangkok Exhibition Services, members of Allworld Exhibition and Messe Düsseldorf Asia, with supported by Messe Düsseldorf organisers of K Fair, the No.1 international trade fair for plastics and rubber. Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2012 will take place from February 29-March 2, 2012 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
