TRUMPF Asia Pacific welcomes our new Managing Director Mr. Chong Chee Ter starting 01 July 2019. He succeeds Mr. Joerg Ellerkmann, who will be returning to TRUMPF headquarters in Germany.

As the Managing Director, Mr. Chong will be responsible for the company’s business strategy and overall operations in the 6 TRUMPF wholly owned subsidiaries in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore.

Mr. Chong brings more than 20 years of valuable experience in automation and system integration that will drive TRUMPF further in the field of Industry 4.0. Also, with the upcoming trends on automation in the machine tools business, this will drive TRUMPF’s expansion in the region and guide the company towards continued success.
