The 12th Industrialists Conference tackles GCC states in 2020

In association with the repercussions of the global financial crisis and their impact over the GCC economies, the 12th Industrialists Conference will tackle the issue of the "Future of Industry in GCC States: 2020." It will be attended by the six GCC Ministers of Industry and by top-notch international speakers and renowned regional experts from all over the world. The event will take place during 22-24 November 2009 at the Exhibition Center, Doha, Qatar. The 12th Industrialists Conference will be held under the Patronage of H.H Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al- Thani - Emir of Qatar. This is the first time a GCC leader will patronize this event. It will be organized by the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) in collaboration with Qatar Ministry for Energy & Industry and Ministry of Business and Trade, and in cooperation with the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), the Federation of the Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers (FGCCC), and Qatar Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Among the topics to be addressed by the 12th Conference: future industry In GCC countries vision 2020, the strategic initiatives in industrial policy formulation and coordination, projects financing and financial services, international cooperation in research and technology, industrial linkages and partnerships, new trends in supply chain management and industrial products and potential market. Two exhibitions will be held during the conference. The first addresses the requirements of the Gulf industrialists especially those related to small and medium industries, from machinery and equipment to services and consulting. The covered sectors will include: plastics, metalworking, Wood Working, Packaging & Printing, Building Materials, Chemical Production, and Automotive. The products on Exhibit will include: Machinery, Equipment, Tools, Machine Tools, Raw Material & Semi-finished products, Safety Equipment, Automation, and Used machinery. While the Services embrace: Consulting, Contracting & Building, Facility management, Finance, Industry Zones, and Ports & Free Zones.
