Plasco promotes PET Strapping Band Extrusion Line at TaipeiPLAS

The PET strapping band extrusion equipment from Plasco Engineering, is designed with circular economy as the main axis. The machine uses 100% recycled bottle flakes to manufacture PET strapping bands with high tensile strength and high ductility, which is suitable for replacing higher-cost traditional steel straps.

The equipment enables the use of 100% PET recycled materials to produce PET strapping band (the tensile is close to steel straps of the same specification). The high strength and high tenacity are suitable for use in automatic  packaging grade. The weight is only 1/6 of steel straps, so cost is lower. Its operation information is enhanced via HMI monitoring system, which executes big data tasks to automate production, and consider the simplicity, practicality and convenience of functional operation. The machine is designed for smooth operation, improving user-friendliness. The operating system is supported in multiple languages, making it easy for operators to become familiar with the operation process.

Other features include: humanized operation mode, control system with abnormal diagnosis, complete production data and recipes, making it easier for operators to read machine production data; ensures operator safety and convenience; the use of key energy-saving components has feedback of utility power efficiently up to 95%; and achieve environmental protection concept of energy saving, carbon reduction and resource regeneration.
