Avient to highlight technology innovations at Arab Plast 2025

Avients is presenting at Arab Plast 2025 its range of material solutions, starting with Cesa™ Fiber Additives Flame Retardants, which is  engineered for the critical safety needs of the textile industry. These additives can provide superior flame resistance, significantly reducing flame spread and heat release while maintaining the physical properties of fibers, such as tensile strength and elasticity. They help textiles meet or exceed stringent safety standards and regulations, making them an excellent choice for automotive interiors, home furnishings, and technical textiles.

Another product on exhibit is Cesa™ Fiber Additives Soft Touch Effect, developed to elevate the comfort and performance of textiles and healthcare applications. These additives can make fibers softer and more pleasant to the touch while maintaining durability and functionality. In healthcare, they enhance medical textiles and devices like patient gowns, bandages, and wearable health monitors, creating a gentle and soothing feel for patient comfort. The technology helps fibers retain their strength and resistance to wear and tear, even after multiple washes and sterilizations, making them useful for both consumer and medical applications.

Avient's Fiber Additives for artificial grass, and tufted carpets are also on show. These additives can improve texture, feel, and resistance to wear, tear, and environmental factors, including ultraviolet (UV) stability and resilience, colorfastness, and stain resistance.

The ColorMatrix™ AAnchor™ acetaldehyde scavenger for PET preforms are presented as useful for supporting packaging quality and safety in the food and beverage industry. These additives can limit acetaldehyde formation during manufacturing, improving final products' clarity, taste, and odor and preventing off-flavors and odors from transferring to the contents.

Also on exhibit are Avient's UV stabilizers and light-blocking additive solutions that are formulated to enhance the durability and performance of geosynthetic materials used in civil engineering and environmental projects. These additives can provide robust protection against UV radiation, significantly extending the lifespan of products like geomembranes, geotextiles, and geogrids.
