Corbion, a global leader in sustainable ingredient solutions, has announced the return of Bart Boomsma as the new Business Development Manager for Animal Nutrition, and new hire Lenaïg Richard-Breivik for the role of Business Development Manager for Aquaculture.
Bart has previously worked with the company from 2009 to 2015 as a Technical Marketing Specialist. During his initial tenure at Corbion, Bart developed a deep understanding of the company’s innovative solutions and contributed significantly to various marketing initiatives. After leaving Corbion, Bart continued to build his career in the animal nutrition sector, taking on technical-commercial roles at Palital Feed Additives and AHV (Animal Health Vision). His experience in these positions has further honed his expertise in product development, animal health, and nutrition.

In his new role at Corbion, Bart will leverage his extensive knowledge and experience to drive business development in the animal nutrition sector. He will focus on expanding Corbion's presence in the pet and livestock markets, working closely with key stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Lenaïg joins Corbion with 13 years of experience at Skretting, a Nutreco company, where she held key roles in research, product management, marketing, and business development. Her work spanned leading R&D projects for shrimp nutritional solutions, managing global feed products, driving innovation pipelines, and leading strategic growth initiatives in early-life nutrition for both fish and shrimp species. Her deep expertise in fish and shrimp nutrition, precision feeding and farming, and innovation management is complemented by a PhD in shrimp nutrition.
Lenaïg will focus on expanding the company’s presence in the global aquaculture market through strategic business development and by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
