Corbion will expand its current partnership with Azelis, a leading global innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, to include distribution of Corbion products in Malaysia and Singapore through Azelis’ Food and Nutrition Division. The two companies already have a strong working relationship, having collaborated successfully to deliver Corbion ingredient solutions in India and Indonesia.
For Corbion, the deal builds on successes realised elsewhere in the region, fortifies its presence in APAC, and helps to foster greater customer intimacy in these important regional markets. For Azelis, the agreement strengthens its lateral value chain with additional advanced solutions applicable for meat and fish, plant-based alternatives, beverages, baked goods, dairy and snack products. It also enables the group to better meet market demand for solutions for creating consumer-friendly applications.
“After partnering successfully with Azelis in India and Indonesia, we are pleased to expand that relationship to include Malaysia and Singapore,” said Shane Petersen, Regional Sales Director SEA/ANZ at Corbion. “Working with reliable partners is crucial for our business, and the trust that has been built thus far in our collaborations with Azelis provides a foundation for further strengthening our outstanding network of distributors in the APAC region. Our customers and partners in Malaysia and Singapore will now have access to a wider scope of innovative ingredients, technical support and tailored solutions for a variety of applications.”
“We are pleased to be able to offer Corbion’s advanced preservation portfolio to additional countries in the region, expanding our lateral value chain and allowing us to present a more comprehensive portfolio of solutions,” said Dipan Dalal, Asia Pacific Market Segment Director Food & Nutrition for Azelis. Corbion invests heavily in R&D, which allows us to benefit from new advanced solutions that meet industry demands. For example, they offer state-of-the-art solutions for label-friendly preservation, sodium reduction and taste enhancement for an improved consumer experience, which we are excited to now be able to offer those solutions in Malaysia and Singapore.”
