FirmaPak announced that it will be relocating its New Castle, Pennsylvania facility to a larger building in New Castle approximately ten miles away. This move reflects FirmaPak’s commitment to serving its customers, with the new location triple the size of FirmaPak’s current site.
FirmaPak owns leading blow molders Container Services and Apex Plastics and has production sites in Hillsboro, Kansas and Brookfield, Missouri, in addition to New Castle, Pennsylvania. Container Services and its team are long-standing members of the Lawrence County community.
FirmaPak’s new facility will offer increased production capacity, additional warehouse space, and more loading docks. As part of its relocation plan, FirmaPak is also investing in new machines, including a new 6-cavity, 2-stage PET machine for higher-volume projects.
“We appreciate Shenango Township and Lawrence County making New Castle a great place to do business, and we are excited to continue investing in our customers, the community, and our dedicated team. This move helps support our growth, enabling us to expand our capabilities and better serve our customers,” said Rob Goldberg, Chief Executive Officer of FirmaPak.
“We understand that our customers prioritize on-time availability, reliability, and product quality. With this in mind, we’ve developed a thoughtful relocation plan to transition our customers smoothly to the new facility,” said Brent Driggers, Chief Operating Officer of FirmaPak.
The relocation will be completed by February 2025 with no disruption in customer service and all FirmaPak employees being retained for the new location.
“Our company and our people have long been serving the Lawrence County community. We are thrilled to start our next chapter and expect to add more team members commensurate with our growth. We are also excited to partner with local contractors to ensure the new facility is best-in-class,” said Brian Richards, Plant Manager.
