Klüber Lubrication honored with ESG Transparency Award

Klüber Lubrication has once again been recognized with the ESG Transparency Award in the ‘Excellence’ category by the renowned organization EUPD Research. The award acknowledges the outstanding transparency and quality of Klüber's sustainability and responsibility reporting.

The ESG Transparency Award honors businesses that have already integrated forward-looking sustainability practices and communicate them clearly through their reporting.

Sustainability as the core of innovation and responsibility
In its latest sustainability report, Klüber Lubrication outlines how the company combines environmental and social responsibility with technological excellence. Key topics include reducing the company’s carbon footprint, ensuring safe working conditions, and upholding ethical standards throughout the supply chain.

Through its sustainability strategy, Klüber Lubrication not only continuously reduces its ecological footprint but also amplifies its even more significant handprint: the company’s products and services enable customers to achieve substantial improvements in their own sustainability efforts, as outlined in the magazine section of the report. For example, Klüber's energy efficiency solutions enable customers to achieve energy savings of up to 8%. Additionally, systematic Sustainability Product Portfolio Management ensures a continuous expansion of the company’s range of sustainable outperformer products.

In their assessment, EUPD Research emphasized: “The evaluation of your ESG reporting demonstrates that your organization recognizes the importance of a sustainable corporate strategy and consistently addresses the needs and expectations for transparent communication of your sustainability approach.”

The award certificate was presented on December 11, 2024, in Petersberg. The ceremony was part of the European Sustainability Week and was held in conjunction with the ESG Summit “Paths towards Reporting, Transparency & Innovation.”
