The Indonesia subsidiary of Krones, PT Krones Machinery Indonesia, is intensifying our promotion of the comprehensive solutions for bottle-to-bottle system, starting from recycling technology for PET and polyolefin, Netstal injection system, water treatment system and Ergobloc for water bottled industry. In particular, the ErgoBloc LM promotes block technology decisively as it does not only combine individual machines but it is also designed as a holistic system with one central unit each for the control system, the drive and the operation.

In February 2024, Krones announced the signing of the contract for the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Netstal Maschinen AG (Netstal), based in Näfels, Switzerland. Such acquisition brings Netstal’s expertise as a leading supplier of injection moulding machines for the beverage market (PET, preforms and closures) within the range of technologies and services that Krones can now offer. Krones now has all technologies required for circular PET solutions – from injection moulding of preforms to PET bottle production and from filling and packaging to used bottle recycling. With its injection moulding technology for medical applications and thin-wall packaging, Netstal also supports Krones’ strategy of diversifying into the medical/pharmaceutical market and into the food and body care sectors. 

So in the next few years, Krones will be able to maintain its position as one that offers solutions that will enable our customers to achieve low operating cost (energy, packaging material), with higher output to investment ratio and sustainability solutions.
