Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients, has announced the opening of its first Roquette Beauté Expertise Center in Shanghai. This brand-new center entirely devoted to cosmetics is a testament of Roquette’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence in plant-based ingredients for cosmetics.
Strategically located in Shanghai, the Roquette Beauté Expertise Center, will serve as a hub for co-creation and partnership opportunities within the Chinese cosmetics market. It is equipped with an advanced application lab and a comprehensive testing center, including sensory analysis capabilities, to support the development of high performance, plant-based cosmetic formulations.
Designed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing, the center will enable Roquette Beauté’s scientific teams and customers to work closely together in a stimulating and cutting-edge setting. The facility is envisioned as a space where creativity and science converge, enabling the creation of innovative solutions for makeup, haircare, skincare, and oral care applications that meet the evolving needs of consumers for plant-based cosmetics that deliver both on sustainability and proven efficacy.

The Shanghai Expertise Center is a crucial addition to Roquette Beauté’s network, complementing its existing Roquette Beauté Expertise center in Paris, France, inaugurated five years ago, and aligns with Roquette Beauté’s strategic vision of reinforcing its presence in key regions and continuing to lead the way in plant-based ingredients for cosmetics.
