Al Islami inks deal with Intercol

LEADING halal food producer Al Islami Foods announced its re - launch and distribution agreement with the International Agencies Co (Intercol) during a press conference in Bahrain. The collaboration is part of Al Islami''s "Big 5" expansion plan across the GCC and global markets. The agreement calls for Intercol to market and distribute Al Islami Foods'' premium halal processed foods, frozen and fresh meat, cheese, vegetables, canned food, honey and dates in Bahrain. CEO Saleh Abdullah Lootah said the strategic tie - up with Intercol provides Al Islami with confidence of huge success in Bahrain: "The synergy with Intercol will be beneficial for the local market as it will have a widespread distribution reach in all market segments in Bahrain, assuring an excellent service to customers and consumers of Al Islami products." Al Islami also launched its unique Al Islami Cart, "on - the - go fresh delights every day" concept, which brings fresh hotdogs to the potential buyers in Bahrain.
