Leading exhibitors involved in aluminium production, along with suppliers of technologies and equipment employed in smelting, extrusion and fabrication of aluminium will soon be converging in the most awaited Aluminium Dubai 2009 scheduled to take off 29-31 March at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Expected visitors of the trade show will come from various fields like manufacturing and processing industry, car and transport industry, plant and machinery, metalworking, building and construction, iron and steel, packaging and electronic industry. Participating exhibitors Most services used in aluminium manufacturing like tooling, plant equipment and engineering will also be highlighted, with exhibitors from more than 15 nations already confirmed their slots from the following fields of castings, power plants, extruded profiles, raw materials, metal products, semi-finished products, light metals trade and recycling, consultancy, industry experts, information and media aluminium finished products, surface treatment and joining technology, and machinery and accessories for aluminium manufacturing and processing. From the previous Alumex brand, Aluminium Dubai now has the wide range prospects of the aluminium industry in the region, with emphasis on equipment for main production, downstream and investments with an enhanced concept, building stronger interaction among global suppliers of products and technologies with foreign purchasers and regional investors. Positive forecast "In the region, aluminium production is anticipated to achieve 6.1 million tonnes by 2013 with 11 smelters that will be employed in the operation in the coming years.
