Bright Autoplast opens new plant in Chennai

Bright Autoplast, a subsidiary of Sintex Industries Limited, announced the commencement of its second plant at Kancheepuram near Chennai at a cost of approximately Rs. 27 crore. The facility will be catering to customers like Hyundai Motor India, Ford India, and major tier-1 suppliers like HANIL, Visteon, besides using this as a manufacturing base for export orders from European tier-1 companies. The plant begins manufacturing "Under the hood?components using injection molding, while a blow molding facility will also be added. The production for electrical products will also begin shortly for large MNCs, who already are serviced through its subsidiary in France - Nief Plastic. Having successfully completed several acquisitions in the year under review, Sintex is now focused on integrating these companies and leveraging on the synergies they offer in terms of new product offerings, new customers and entry into new geographies.
