In Indonesia, Cargill offers its support to local communities through its Corporate Responsibility programs with value of USD500,000. The company has 59 locations with offices, facilities, and manufacturing plants in the country.
More than 20,000 basic staple food packages, consisting of rice, cooking oil, sugar and egg /other protein, are being donated to local communities surrounding Cargill operations in the country. For frontliners, Personal Protective Equipment (masks, goggles, coverall suits) are being distributed to 17 local hospitals across Indonesia surrounding their operations.

Through its education socialisation programme, Cargill is teaching communities on the risks and prevention of COVID-19, as well as helping in the disinfection of communities’ housing areas and public facilities and providing hand wash facilities in public facilities. In addition, Cargill also distributed personal care packages that includes mask and hand sanitizers to local communities, our employees and their families.

Cargill's business activities in Indonesia comprise animal nutrition, cocoa, copra, seaweed, processed food exporting, grain and oilseeds, palm oil, as well as starches and sweeteners.
