FCS Group opens JV in Indonesia

One of FCS Group's new businesses – PT. FCS RGP PLASTIC (FCS RGP) – was officially established in Batam on March 28, with support from the Indonesian government.  

 

FCS RGP is a joint venture with investment from FCS, EVERRANK and ROYAL GOALSON. The registered capital is SGD 5 million and total investment will be SGD 20 million. FCS RGP mainly provides recycled plastic pallets, recycled plastic trash cans, recycled plastic packaging materials, and various recycled plastic products. Around 80% of production will be exported to the United States, Singapore and Malaysia, while another 20% is intended for the Indonesian domestic market. 

 

 

FCS RGP plans to employ about 300 local staff to concentrate on training for the operation and maintenance of high-tech equipment as it aims to gradually reduce the proportion of skilled workers from overseas.

 

FCS RGP adopts the well-known FCS high-tech equipment and technology to attain the requirements of green plastics enterprises, as it also strives to achieve environmental production goals of zero-emission sewage, zero-emission exhaust gas, while making use of recycled plastic materials instead of resorting to deforestation. This forms part of the company’s objective to protect the local ecology and to create a healthy environment.
