Gulf pipe and tube industry to survive global crisis

The International Tube Association (ITA) has cautioned on the adverse impact of the global economic crisis on the Gulf tube and pipe industry although it is optimistic the effect would be short term. The ITA expects fast recovery for the industry due to the global demand for energy, infrastructure development, construction projects, water and air conditioning supply and automobiles sectors that drive the tube and pipe industry. The ITA, whose members are participating at Tekno Tube Arabia 2009, the 9th International Trade Fair for Industrial Machinery, Metalworking, Machine Tools, Dies/Molds, Tubes, and Pipes being organized from January 10 to 13, 2009, and are providing members with some practical tips - whether in exhibiting, presenting technical papers, taking advantage of cost-effective networking opportunities or using the association''s extensive media facilities for marketing and promotion. Tekno Tube Arabia provides the ITA with the most important forum for disseminating information to the Arab world. ITA will have a joint booth with The International Wire & Machinery Association (IWMA) at the show.
