DSM will highlight its wide range of food, beverage, and nutritional solutions at this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing. New ingredients, formulations, and services for dairy and juice products, and dietary supplements for better heart, joint, brain, and eye health will lead the company’s product exhibits at MEASA’s biggest trade event, which will run from November 9 to 11 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Samples for tasting at the DSM booth at S2-B30 will include the DelvoFresh, a cultures toolbox for dairy producers. It is designed to enable dairy manufacturers to create low fat, low sugar, and authentic regional fermented milk products customised to consumers’ taste, texture, and performance requirements.
DSM’s new neutral lactase enzyme, the Maxilact LGi, is suitable for creating great-tasting but lactose-free dairy products. It reduces sugar content by as much as 20% without compromising flavour.
DSM will also be showcasing the Rapidase Pro Color enzyme, which enables juice processors to extract up to 95% from red fruits. The use of enzymes increases consumer appeal and doubles the amount of the antioxidant anthocyan in coloured juices.
The other nutritional solutions that can be sampled at DSM’s booth will include the elaVida and life’sOMEGA 60. A superior olive polyphenol preparation made using a proprietary solvent-free process, the elaVida contains hydroxytyrosol. This is a powerful antioxidant that protects blood lipids from oxidative stress to achieve better heart health. Olive polyphenols are also reported to improve joint health and cellular energy metabolism, and boost the body’s antioxidant system.
The life’sOMEGA 60 is a high-potency DHA/EPA oil that benefits the heart, joints, brain, and eyes.
