Mr. Klaus Ludwig Managing Director HwaCheon Asia Pacific Pte Ltd
If only the manufacturing Industry is looking into "saving the planet" we will never improve anything. But of course, we at Hwacheon are looking into this whole issue not only to save costs on manufacturing but more to reduce our 襢oot print?on the wastage of resources. By making machines which last much longer than machines from competitor is a large saving of natural resources. The impression by some customers, to buy a cheap machine just to do the job and after using throw it away is pure waste and need to be changed. Also the usage of lesser energy by remaining the speed and power of our new machines is helping to save energy. The usage of the latest & newest drive motors and by using new machine designs to use less lubricants is helping to a great extent. Besides, particularly our large size VERTICAL TURNING CENTRES are widely used to produce parts for windmills which are more and more used to make wind energy. Oil and gas manufacturing companies are key-customers to us. We provide machines to them to produce more efficient systems to transport oil and gas to the end user worldwide. Aeroplane manufacturers are in discussion with us to make parts of their planes not only more effective but also more efficient in terms of materials used. At our offices and factory, we make it a point to save energy where and whenever possible. Our employees are made to be aware on the positive effect of saving materials and energy.Mr. Boris Sciaroni Marketing Manager Mikron Machining Technology
The headquarter of Mikron Machining Technology, Mikron SA Agno, is certified ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999. All Mikron's manufacturing processes are oriented to respect ecological performance criteria. Mikron is aware of the importance of reducing the environmental impacts of conventional electricity generation but an implementation in Mikron's facilities of green energy in 2009 is not realistic. As leading supplier of machining solutions for the automotive sector, Mikron works close together with the OEM companies for developing new car components, for e.g. diesel injectors, which are environmentally friendly. The car components should respect the future legislation Euro 6, applied to all new car models in 2014. Main goal of this European directive is to stricter emission caps on both diesel and petrol cars, limiting in particular nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM), which pose the most serious health problems. The strict collaboration with the automotive sub suppliers enables Mikron to directly contribute to support the use of new and non-polluting technologies.Mr. Stefan Roeding Managing Director Witte Far East Pte.
