The rising energy costs has increased manufacturing spendings in the metalworking machinery manufacturing. This crisis renewed a sense of urgency to the people's individual self-interest. Ltd, Singapore, G咹RING oHG and Siemens PLM Software shared their forethought with International Metalworking News for Asia regarding the clarity and seriousness of turning the vision of green energy into reality in 2009. In line with the vision, the companies have also narrated their key initiatives and strategies as a sign of commitment to the environment.

If only the manufacturing Industry is looking into "saving the planet" we will never improve anything. Oil and gas manufacturing companies are key-customers to us. We provide machines to them to produce more efficient systems to transport oil and gas to the end user worldwide. Aeroplane manufacturers are in discussion with us to make parts of their planes not only more effective but also more efficient in terms of materials used. At our offices and factory, we make it a point to save energy where and whenever possible. Our employees are made to be aware on the positive effect of saving materials and energy.
