Machine Tool Indonesia 2008, the biggest in its 19 year history

Machine Tool Indonesia 2008 and Manufacturing Indonesia 2008 returns on December 3-6, 2008 at the Jakarta International Expo Centre. Now in its 19th year, Machine Tool and Manufacturing Indonesia have surpassed all previous records. Occupying all nine halls at the exhibition centre, the organizers have had to construct a temporary structure, hall F, to accommodate the continuing demand for space. A record of 1,979 companies from 45 countries have currently confirmed their participation including 14 international/regional pavilions from Austria, China, Germany (2), Italy, Korea (2),Poland, Singapore (2), Taiwan (2), Thailand and United Kingdom. Machine Tool Indonesia 2008 will showcase the latest equipment and technologies from leading players in the fields of machine tools, metalcutting and metrology including Dalian Machine Tool, DMG, Faccin, FICEP, Gasparini, GP Systems, Hurco, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitutoyo, Mori Seiki, Nikon, Okamoto, Okuma, Renishaw, Seco Tools, Sodick, Trumpf and Walter Machines. Manufacturing Indonesia incorporating Industrial Automation Indonesia and Vehicle Manufacturing Indonesia will highlight the full range of products for the manufacturing sector from Alstom, Atlas Copco, Autonics, Bosch, Festo, GE Jenbacher, Multi Mayaka, Schaeffler Group, Siemens and Toshiba. Over 40,000 professional trade visitors are expected to throng the aisles of this four day exhibition in search of ideas, technology and equipment that can be utilized to expand their companies operation in Indonesia. The automotive market in Indonesia continues to go from strength to strength, having recently surpassed both Thailand and Malaysia as the largest auto market in ASEAN. A number of high level seminars will address this issue and other issues affecting the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. Machine Tool and Manufacturing Indonesia will be open from 10:00-19:00 daily, 3-6 December and will be officially opened by Fahmi Idris, Minister of Industry at 9am on the 3rd December at the JI Expo fair grounds.
