More online users turn to Ringier B2B website - survey

Ringier Trade Publishing Ltd released the results of its 2009 online user survey which showed that average visit frequency of each user is 3.24 times a week, while the average visit time is 26.04 minutes. A substantial 82% of online users have used online product/supplier search function to find industrial machinery and materials, reflecting the huge number of industrial professionals who are now turning to online media for information and to search for products or suppliers. Around 76% of users said they use the search function as main information source for finding products/suppliers, 36% of them inquired and contacted suppliers at once, while 40% of them saved the results and contacted suppliers later. The survey was conducted among online users of www.industrysourcing.com via direct e-mail from February to March this year. A total of 1,016 complete responses were collected. The respondents?average age is 35 and 97% of them were able to finish bachelor's degree or higher education. Most of them are professionals or senior managers in their companies.
