MWV names Amadio as VP for global marketing

MEADWESTVACO Corp. (MWV) announced Julia Amadio has joined the company as the new vice president of global marketing for MWV Healthcare. In her role, Amadio will over see market ing and commercialisation for MWV's growing portfolio of OTC and pharmaceutical packaging solutions, including the company's successful adherence and compliance product lines. She will also be responsible for driving growth opportunities in emerging global pharmaceutical markets like India and China. Amadio comes from JMA Consulting, a company she founded, where she conducted commercial assessments and developed marketing and distribution strategies for various U.S.-based and international clients. She previously held marketing and management positions with Parexel MMS, Patients' & Consumers' Pharma, Daiichi Pharmaceutical Corporation, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and McNeil Pharmaceutical.Nike Sportswear
