New agriculture firm to invest in Egypt and Sudan

A JOINT venture by Beltone Private Equity and Kenana Sugar Company will create a company to invest up to $1 billion in large-scale agriculture projects across Egypt and Sudan. Beltone would provide extensive investment management, corporate finance, as well as strategic capabilities, CEO Hazem Barakat said.
