New grooving system with performance and easy handling

With its "WALTER CUT GX16 Parting Off" monoblock toolholders, Walter has added a special cut off system to the WALTER CUT grooving line, based on 16 mm long, double-edged grooving inserts from the GX series. Its special features include a cutting tool holder in monoblock design with a permanently integrated screw clamp. The locking screw has a 20 degree incline in both radial and axial direction. The double 20 degree incline of the locking screw assures optimal access when changing the insert. Available grooving widths are 2, 2.5 and 3mm. Two insert variants with designations CF4 and CF6 are available for delivery. For the first time ever, two high-performance, wear-resistant PVD- Tiger.tec?variants (PVD-aluminium oxide coating) with designation WSP43 and WSM33 are being offered.
