New Ringier CEO visits China office

Christian Unger, the new CEO of Ringier AG, has visited Ringier Trade Publishing Ltd's Shanghai office on March 23, 2009 giving the opportunity to meet Mike Hay, managing director of Ringier Trade Publishing Ltd, and the other staff. Unger was previously the CEO of the Naspers subsidiary MIH Internet Europe BV and former CEO of Bertelsmann China. He joined Ringier AG in January this year. As a new CEO, he seeks to get acquainted with the Ringier AG staff worldwide. The Shanghai office was his first on the list during his China visit. Unger reviewed the overall business activities of Ringier Trade Publishing. In general, he gave positive insights on the ongoing developments and plans of Ringier's B2B industrial media for China, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
