OatWell? oat beta glucan now in DSM portfolio

DSM Nutritional Products has acquired the OatWell^?brand beta glucan ingredient from Swedish Oat Fiber (SOF). In the agreement, which took effect on January 1 2013, DSM takes over the sales, marketing and other related commercial activities formerly handled by CreaNutrition. SOF will continue to produce the OatWell^?products at their factory in Bua, Sweden.

OatWell^?products are sold around the world to food and beverage manufacturers and dietary supplement producers who wish to add the health benefits of oat beta glucan to their products. Oat beta glucan has clinically proven health benefits in the areas of cholesterol reduction, blood glucose control and general gastrointestinal health.
