A new wiper insert turns the Xtra.tec face milling cutters, F4033, and cassette milling cutters, F2010, into combined tools for roughing and finishing. The F4033 and F2010 from Walter are both equipped with the same carbide indexable inserts, shape designation SNGX. The finishing cutting edge projects by about 0.03mm beyond the usual indexable inserts on the front face and provides for the removal of a fine finishing layer. The XNGX insert can be used whenever the feed per revolution is < 4.7mm. The wiper insert has a negative basic shape and a total of 4 cutting edges (2 right + 2 left). The grades WXH15 and WAK15 are available as cutting tool materials for cast iron and WXM15 for steel. WXM15 and WXH15 are PVD-coated and have a sharp cutting edge. On the F4033, the ground finishing inserts are inserted in the standard insert seat, adjustment is not necessary. For the F2010 there are cassettes to suit the XNGX dimensions. Adjustment is also unnecessary here. The cassettes are simply placed against the stop in the cutter body.Mens Running Shoes & Running Trainers
