Siemens PLM ASEAN 2008 brings 800 attendees together Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and a provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) products, has concluded the ASEAN tour of its global user and developer conference, which were hosted earlier in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand from August 21- 29 respectively. Targeted at users of NXTM, Teamcenter? Tecnomatix?and Solid Edge?software, the annual user group conference heralded attendance of 800. Siemens PLM Software launched NX6, powered with its latest breakthrough, synchronous technology. Kennametal announces new chief technology officer Kennametal Inc., a global supplier of tooling, engineered components and advanced materials, announced that John R. Tucker has been elected Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. This appointment is effective October 1, 2008. "We are pleased to have John join the Kennametal team. Proceq Asia conducts metal hardness testing seminar in Jakarta Proceq Asia, a maker of nondestructive portable testing instruments for metal hardness, has conducted a technical seminar titled, "Metal Hardness Testing" on October 21, 2008 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The seminar was coordinated by Amit Singh and Jimmy Tang from the sales and marketing department and was held at Kota Industrial Estate.
