Dear Participants,
Due to the recent and increasing travel restrictions impacting industry participation and new travel measures enacted by the Thailand’s health ministry, Informa Markets in Thailand has taken the decision to postpone INTERMACH and MTA Asia 2020 originally scheduled for 13-16 May at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) to a new date to be announced after consulting relevant authorities and stakeholders.
On March 13th, the Ministry of Public Health Thailand issued a public notice advising to avoid visiting public or crowded places and maintaining at least 1 meter distance between individuals. In addition, on March 14th, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced additional stringent measures for travelers entering Thailand from high risk zones, 14 day quarantines, and suspension of visas for 21 countries. In consultation with key stakeholders, exhibitors, and industry partners, the INTERMACH and MTA Asia teams concluded postponing the event in May is best for the industry.
We believe revised new dates later in time will allow more time for normality and confidence to return to the marketplace, ease travel restrictions, and provide all-around better conditions for exhibitors and visitors to engage. The INTERMACH and MTA Asia teams will reach out to all participants regarding detailed arrangements shortly as well as survey stakeholders on best fit new dates.
We wish to thank those who participate and support INTERMACH and MTA Asia and we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding and apologize for any inconvenience. Our sole focus remains to provide an event of enhanced quality, with more exhibitors and qualified trade buyers to make your participation a huge success.
