ProPak Asia to hold info-packed events

Visitors to ProPak Asia can take part in the many conferences and mini seminars set up for the duration of the show. New for 2019, ProPak launches The Global Packaging Forum, a one-day event that will discuss global and regional trends in sustainable packaging as seen through the perspective of industry professionals from across the globe. On June 12 seminars will provide state of the industry presentations from packaging experts including Stefan Paolo Bunag, chairman of the Packaging Institute of the Philippines, Dr Patra Maneesin, Director at the Thai Packaging Centre, Ariana Susanti, Business Development Director of the Indonesian Packaging Institute, Rohan Victoria, Chairman of the Asian Packaging Federation, and many others. The Forum is organised by the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) and UBM Asia.

The Plastic Institute of Thailand (PIT) has organised Global Trends of Food & Beverage Packaging mainly for Thai companies. This conference takes place on June 12 from 1pm-4pm at Room 211.

Returning to ProPak Asia this year, the Active & Intelligent Packaging Association (AIPIA) will present packaging technologies that offer extended freshness, anti-counterfeiting measures, and more, on June 13.

Other seminars and conferences include: Introduction to Sustainable Packaging Design organized by the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP); Circular Economy Seminar organized by the Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment (TIPMSE) and The Asia Drink Conference, which will focus on Digitalization in Industry organized by Eastern Trade Media (ETM) and UBM Asia.
