A SACMI 48SD CCM press designed specifically for the Indian market on show at the Mumbai International Trade Fair for Plastivision 2020 (16-20 January 2020). The complete inspection systems, including the latest developments in the SACMI PVS range for preform control, will be showcased alongside it
Coordinated by SACMI Engineering, the SACMI Group is flying to Mumbai for the 28th edition of Plastivision. One of the good reasons to visit the SACMI stand (hall 1, row D2, booth 1) is the opportunity catch a close-up view of the Group's most advanced capsule production range implementing compression technology.
Visitors to the SACMI stand will see be the CCM 48SD. Specifically configured for the Indian market, it can produce up to 2000 plastic caps per minute with just 48 moulds and has a cycle time of up to 1.44 seconds, making it one the most competitive solutions on the market for the production of one-piece capsules for flat water, CSD, hot filling and cold aseptic filling.
The CCM 48SD presented at the trade fair will be equipped with a COOL PLUS® mould designed for making AB1881CSD13 one-piece capsules. Like the other machines in the SACMI CCM range, the solution guarantees the lowest operating costs on the market also by exploiting a self-regulating hydraulic pressure system through inverters, together with short cycle times, high management flexibility, high quality, full process repeatability and an even faster format changeover courtesy of the new mould design.
As a leading producer of complete systems from raw materials to the shelf, SACMI is introducing full solutions for preform and bottling line management alongside the CCM. An integrated offer of computer vision systems for in-line, high-speed inspection of labelled capsules, preforms and containers designed to be installed downstream of the machine.
More in detail, a PVS-2 (Preform Vision System) will be on show at Plastivision. With this machine, SACMI has innovated the way of understanding quality control by developing automated and patented systems (implementing polarised light inspection and Artificial Intelligence) to identify any type of defect efficiently and unambiguously.
With the latest generation of SACMI vision systems, provided with unique software and capable of remotely interfacing with any device connected to the company network, manufacturers can generate timely reports that help operators identify the origin of faults in a timely manner and made appropriate corrections on the machines with no negative repercussions on production.
Always by the side of customers in developing complete, bespoke solutions from the design stage, SACMI also offers advanced assistance before, during and after sales through its local branches and the online services of the new SACMI Customer Service Division.
