BAGHDAD, IRAQ-Sidel, a global provider of liquid packaging solutions, has successfully upgraded the carbonated soft drinks (CSD) production line of Naba Al Furat, a member of the Al Hadara Group of Iraq, with the addition of two Sidel Rollquattro F35 Evolution labellers.
Designed to meet the growing demand for roll-fed technology in the Iraqi beverage market, Sidel’s Rollquattrolabellers will be utilised to produce 33millilitre and 0.5 litre bottle. These are covering together 70% of the Iraqi beverage manufacturer’s total production of 90,000 bottles per hour (bph).With a production plant spanning over 48,000 sq.m. in Baghdad, Naba Al Furat specializes in the production of CSD,water and most recently energy drinks.
Sidel’s consolidated roll-fed technology, the Rollquattro, is found worldwide with a vast total installed capacity of 994 machines, including 658 of its last generation, Rollquattro F35 Evolution. Its latest version offers greater flexibility and superior quality of final products, along with it being a unique system for applying the labels with no smoothing required. It is enhanced with a SMAR (Sidel MArkless Registration) system, which reduces the cost of a label material by indicating the correct cutting without any need for the traditional marks.
